Jim’s accounting experience dates from 1972.  After serving in the U.S. Army he began his career with a national accounting firm. From there he became the controller and treasurer of a small company in the Columbus area.  In 1975 he founded his own firm which merged a year later with the Charles W. Hirth Company.  Jim has had extensive experience in tax and auditing, especially audits of employee benefits plans.

Tim joined Hirth, Norris & Garrison in April, 1996, becoming a partner of the firm in January, 1999. Tim draws upon his extensive tax, accounting and consulting background to serve the needs of business clients. He is also responsible for audit engagements of employee benefit plans and low income housing (including HUD assisted) real estate projects. Additionally, Tim has handled some of the fraud audits conducted by the firm. Tim has excellent communication skills and most enjoys the "people part" of the business.

Tim, a graduate of Otterbein College, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and is active in various committees. Tim enjoys being active within the community and has also presented several financial and tax programs to clients and others.

Jodi graduated from Ohio State University in 1987 and began her career as the controller for a local management-consulting firm. She joined Hirth Norris & Garrison in 1989 and became a partner in January 1993.  Jodi is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.  As a member of the OSCPA, Jodi has served as a director of the Columbus Chapter and is active on several committees.

In addition to her service to the profession, Jodi is also active in the community.  She is currently serving on the board of directors of the Grove City Foundation and is an active member of the Grove City Business Women's Association. 

As a member of the firm, Jodi provides a wide range of services to varied clientele.  Her areas of specialty include management consulting, auditing and accounting services, and installation of accounting systems and software.
